Amanda Harris (she/her) was born and raised in Montclair, NJ, and is currently based in NYC. Growing up just 12 miles from New York City, she was lucky to spend many weekends with her family at Broadway theaters and Grateful Dead concerts (thanks to her dad). She spent her summers at Paper Mill Playhouse’s Conservatory, and subsequently made her professional debut in their production of The Sound of Music. Here, she realized one could perform “for real for real”— as a career. To expand her tool belt, she attended Boston University’s School of Theatre, where she graduated with a B.F.A. in Acting and concentrations in Musical Theatre and Italian. Throughout her time in college, she was a sponge: she studied opera and Italian in Florence, Italy; Film/TV at Stonestreet Studios; and partook in the world-renowned Kristin Linklater’s very last voice masterclass in Orkney, Scotland.

Born with a dislocated hip, performing is not only Amanda’s art, it is her arson: she wants to prove anyone who sees her as “limited” wrong, and is resilient in her work ethic.

Known for her various impressions and spunky humor, she is a people-lover, “really good rule follower”, and very lucky travel partner— no traffic or delays! Amanda is a passionate young artist who is hungry to collaborate on any and all projects (and she’s really nice!).
